Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 FE are getting December 2024 Patch in the USA

Samsung has rolled out the December 2024 security patch for several devices; however, till now, the update is spotted limited to the smartphones. Now, moving firmware, the company has started rolling out the December 2024 patch to the Galaxy Tab S9 and S9 FE devices.

Verizon rolls out December 2024 update for Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 FE in the USA

The December 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G and Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G is receiving a new update on Verizon with the firmware version numbers X818USQU5BXKC and X518USQS8BXK6, respectively.

According to the changelog, the December 2024 update doesn’t bring any significant changes for the devices. The changelog only says that the update will not provide updated security software for the devices.

If you are using the Galaxy Tab S9+ or Galaxy Tab S9 FE device bound to Verizon, then you should start getting new updates on your devices. Alternatively, you can also check the update from the software update option via system settings.

One UI 7 availability

Apart from this, if we talk about the major update for these devices, One UI 7. It is expected that the company will introduce it in the mid-phase of the stable rollout session. As per the past timeline, the Galaxy Tab S8 received the One UI 6 stable update in November last year, which is the second month of the stable update rollout program.
