The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is highly anticipated to bring a new revolution in the tech industry by its impressive specifications and features. Reportedly, it will exclusively use the more powerful second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor Glass.
Samsung is set to debut the next-generation Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 next year. The lineup will include Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Now a well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, shared a post on X, revealing that the Ultra variant of the series, Galaxy S25 Ultra, is rumored to exclusively feature the more powerful second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor Glass. It will be significant to reduce reflection by at least up to 75% compared to typical glass, which can improve display readability and reduce screen glare.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with QHD+ resolution, HDR10+, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Previously, it was also reported that the company will use a panel with the older M13 OLED material instead of the newer M14 material that Apple used in its latest iPhone 16 Pro’s screen.
However, the company has already attached the anti-reflective properties to its current Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it also has higher durability than the Gorilla Glass Armor panel.
