The countdown for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series has already begun, with the expectation to be launched on 22nd January next year. As the days pass by, Galaxy fans have been curiously waiting as to what this next generation lineup will offer. A new report seeking us suggests that the company could add a long-awaited safety feature, car crash detection, with the upcoming Galaxy S series.

Google has already added the car crash detection feature on the Pixel phones; however, Samsung has long been working on this safety feature, and with regards to the latest reports, the new Galaxy S25 series could probably include a new car crash detection sensor.

According to the information spotted with some new leaked files from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it’s certainly found that the upcoming Galaxy S series’ model, the S25 Ultra, will boost a car crash detection sensor. However, some previous Samsung flagships, including the Galaxy S24 lineup, Z Fold 5, and a few newer foldables, have this safety sensor, even though this feature is found nowhere yet.

While the car crash detection feature in Android devices significantly detects whether the users or the phone is involved in a crash via certain motion sensors and AI tools, Samsung doesn’t seem to activate the feature in any of its One UI versions, though.

Moreover, with the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung could make it possible to include the useful yet crucial car crash detection feature. Since the leaked files closely hint that this safety feature exists, fans need to wait and watch till the company brings its newer Galaxy S series models to the podium next year.
