One UI 7 Takes Gallery App to the Next Level, Check Out New Features

Samsung Gallery is continuously evolving with the new One UI iteration. It is worth noticing that the company has introduced many useful features that allow users to perform several tasks to manage their photos and videos within the application. Now, with One UI 7, the company has introduced some more new features and improvements that will level the overall experience.
One UI 7 Gallery App: What’s a new feature or improvement added?
Samsung has introduced this new feature and changes in the Gallery application.
New editing options
There are several new editing options added to the Gallery application for users to do more creative things.
- Erase objects from photos effortlessly:
Just touch and hold the item you want to get rid of.

- Collages feature expand:
usually, you can make the collage of photos with the preset layouts, but with One UI 7, Samsung has made it easy to make customizable collages that will give you full control to edit collages created in stories.

- Apart from this, the company has also introduced a new capability to make your story collage look more customized, like you can replace images, remove or add images, or adjust the position and size.
- Motion photo effects:
Now you can apply fun playback effects on your motion photos, such as slow motion or boomerang. Once the effect is applied, you can quickly share the result as a video.

New video editing features
- Undo/redo options:
Samsung has brought new redo and undo options to bring more control for editing videos more effortlessly.

- Animate your videos:
Now you can add animated fun effects to stickers and text in your videos in the Studio.

Clean out
A new clean-out feature arrives with One UI 7, which will allow users to get rid of duplicate photos. Basically, when you use the option, it will offer you the photos in the place, and you can clean the duplicate photos in a single click.

Gallery widget on lock screen
Samsung has introduced a new Gallery widget for the lock screen; however, widgets on the lock screen are available in miniature sizes of 2×1. Here you can place any photos or albums that look unique in the lock screen’s widget section, which also reflects in the AOD. You can use two widgets at the same time here for separate images.

Search foreground analysis
A new feature appears for the Gallery app as search foreground analysis under the Galaxy lab. However, the feature is under development, so it is not currently started working, and there are not enough details available about it. In case you want to access the application on your device, you will need to activate the Galaxy Lab by tapping the Gallery option via the About section of the application.

The search option for the gallery is improved:
Now the user can more accurately find the related images from the gallery. It is also worth noticing that the search bar is now moved down, which is similar to the app search bar. When you tap on the search bar, it helps you with the recent photos option, and when you start to type, it also provides suggestions.
