Samsung’s New QD-OLED TV Panel Have 4,000 Nits Brightness

Samsung Display expanded the TV panel lineup by introducing the latest fourth-generation QD-OLED TV panels.
Samsung Display already secured its place as the world’s biggest OLED panel manufacturer, and now, to maintain its legacy, it unveiled more upgraded panels that can reach over 4,000 nits of peak brightness.
The brand introduced its fourth-generation QD-OLED TV panels with the support of over 4,000 nits peak brightness. Regarding the new panels, Samsung stated that it used advanced panel-driving technology and new organic materials to achieve this massive peak brightness.
The new technology helps the company to make the latest QD-OLED panel with over 30% more brightness than its predecessor, which could reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The 4,000 nits brightness is achieved using red, green, and blue sub-pixels, offering the highest color purity.
It’s expected that the company will use this new QD-OLED with a 4,000 nits peak brightness panel in the upcoming OLED TV next week. Apart from this panel, Samsung Display is also set to showcase the world’s largest 18.8-inch foldable OLED panels at CES 2025, along with an AI-powered monitor lineup that will be available in 27-inch, 31.5-inch, 34-inch, and 49-inch sizes.
