One UI 7 Polishes Vertical App Drawer for Better Scrolling

Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7 is currently running in its third beta phase for the flagship models, the S24 series. It brought about a lot of interesting changes and improvements that aimed to provide an efficient and convenient experience for the users. Meanwhile, the company has improved the interface of the highly awaited vertical app drawer.
With One UI 7, Samsung has finally provided the long-awaited vertical alignment of the app drawer; this is something that was expected to come to the Galaxy smartphone lineup for years. Recently, with the new One UI 7 beta 3, the vertical app drawer functionality has been improved.
According to the details mentioned in the One UI 7 Beta 3 changelog, the overall functionality of the vertical scrolling is enhanced, while also enhancing the scroll bar UI that significantly helps users to have an intuitive experience when they have set the vertical alignment of their app drawer.

Alternatively, the key highlight is that now Samsung has integrated a new tutorial that says, “Swipe up or down to scroll through all your apps”, which prompts while scrolling through your device’s applications vertically. This adds a little way of convenience, especially for those users who have not used the app drawer in the vertical alignment. However, you can switch back to the horizontal app drawer when needed.
Since One UI 7 is still in its beta testing phase, Galaxy audiences could expect further changes and enhancements in the software’s overall functionality in the future.
