Samsung is off to a great start, treating its Galaxy audience with the latest January 2025 security patch that will reach the users from different parts of the world. Recently, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 units have started receiving the security patch in even more countries.

Earlier, the patch hit the Galaxy 6th generation book-style foldables in Samsung’s hometown, South Korea; meanwhile, this time, the software expands to the US market, as the update is now available for the carrier-locked (USCellular) Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 models.

The January 2025 security update for the devices can be identified with their individual build numbers: F956USQS2AXLF and F741USQS2AXLF. Apart from this, the new Android security software figures out a lot of vulnerabilities of both Google and Samsung, ranging from high-level to critical ones, that have been addressed in the previous version.

This certainly focuses on providing a more safe and secure environment to the users and also helps in protecting the device against external threats and risks. Alternatively, the update further aims to add stability and reliability to the overall system behaviour that significantly offers a smooth and stable functionality. It also brings performance optimizations and applies the latest security patches for an enhanced and optimized user experience.
