Samsung TVs to Get HDR10+ Support for Disney+

Disney Plus is all set to expand its way as it will soon add support for HDR10+ to add an extra layer of enhanced experience on Samsung TVs.
Disney Plus is compatible with most Samsung Smart TVs released since 2016 based on Tizen OS but does not work on models running Orsay OS or built-in web browsers. Now it is planning to add support for HDR10+ on Samsung TVs to deliver more detailed picture quality soon.
At the CES it was announced that Disney Plus is the latest platform to add support for HDR10+, joining the ranks of Prime Video, Apple TV Plus, YouTube, Hulu, and many others. A report from Media Play News revealed that a representative of HDR10R+ Technologies LLC at the CES announced that Disney+ will soon get support for HDR10+ and also administers the license and certification program for the technology.
However, for now, the full HDR10+ support is yet to arrive, but Samsung TV, Galaxy Tablet, & smartphone users should notice an upgrade in dynamic range on Disney Plus once support has fully rolled out. Noticeably, Samsung products do not support Dolby Vision, so up-to-date streaming was limited to the aging HDR10 standard but no longer soon.
Previously it was also reported that Samsung announced Eclipsa Audio, a free and open Dolby Atmos alternative for 3D spatial sound.
