Samsung introduced an AI-powered feature to enhance the video editing experience called Instant Slo-Mo with the One UI 6.1 update. Now it seems that soon this feature will get HDR 10+ support.

Currently, the Instant Slo-Mo feature is available only on premium devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. The brand has improved the feature by rolling out updates to enhance the functionality and results. Now the report says that Samsung is setting up to add new support for HDR10+ in the Instant Slo-Mo feature.

This is being speculated as the official moderator of the Samsung Community forum confirmed that the feature under the hood is in the developing phase and will be released with the next software update. However, it has yet to be confirmed whether this new HDR10+ support will come with the next regular software update or the next One UI update. One UI 7.0 is next in line.

One more support for 480p videos with the next update is in line. The Instant Slo-Mo feature uses AI to generate frames based on the current frames in the video to let you convert almost any regular video or a specific part of it into a slow-motion video. Earlier, it was not compatible to support 1:1 aspect ratio video, but Samsung added support for the aspect ratio with a software update.
