Galaxy S25 Slim Could Still Be Months Away from Launch

Samsung is all set to release the three variants of the Galaxy S25 series this month at the Unpacked event, and the fourth variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim, is rumored to launch in May 2025.
Samsung confirmed it will host the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January, at which it will launch the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Usually, Samsung introduces three variants (Base, Plus, Ultra) within each Galaxy S-series, but this time the company is changing its ritual by introducing one more device with the title Slim.
A random user, @ZionsAnvin on X, shared a post claiming that the Galaxy S25 Slim will launch in May 2025, which means a quarter after the standard variants launch. Previously, it was reported that Samsung will debut the Galaxy S25 Slim globally.
Recently, it was reported that Samsung could power the Galaxy S25 Slim with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, similar to the standard variants. The device is expected to measure a 6.6mm thin design, and it could be the first Galaxy phone to feature an ALoP camera.
However, there’s no official report regarding this claim, so we can’t blindly trust this timeline, at least for now. It will be interesting to see whether this report will come true. Currently, Samsung has opened the pre-reservation for the Galaxy S25 series.
