Galaxy S25 Slim claimed to disappoint in battery aspect, equally smaller as iPhone 17 Air

The competition between Samsung and Apple to manufacture their respective ultimate thin smartphones is heating up, with several leaks having already created a lot of hype among Galaxy audiences. Well, a new leak suggests that Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S25 Slim will significantly disappoint in terms of battery aspect.
According to the information presented by the team at Android Authority (via tipster DCS at Weibo), though Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Slim and Apple’s iPhone 17 Air battery capacity is claimed to be between 3,000mAh and 4,000mAh, which could be obvious if both the manufacturers are going for a slimmer form factor.
However, this sounds disappointing for the Galaxy fans, as the previous specifications reportedly mentioned the S25 Slim’s battery size to be between 4,700mAh and 5,000mAh, leading the iPhone 17 Air’s battery size.
Alternatively, it’s better to consider such battery capacity for Samsung’s upcoming Slim model as an ideal size, prominently due to its form factor. Since with such a thin body, manufacturers will definitely need to strike a balance somewhere else, while here with smaller batteries. Apart from this, the Galaxy S25 Slim is already rumored to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as its other partners of the S25 series, a stunning 200MP primary camera, and more.
While Samsung and Apple will raise the bar of the smartphone industry with their respective thinner smartphones, it will be interesting to see whether the Galaxy S25 Slim beats with its stunning performance and design or the iPhone 17 Air takes on the entire show!
