While Samsung is preparing itself for the biggest launch event of this year, the Galaxy Unpacked, with the next generation S25 series, is being introduced via the keynote; the company is continuing to distribute the January 2025 security update for the smartphones in different parts of the world, and now the Galaxy S24 series owners are receiving one more update.

Since Samsung has already delivered the January 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra in almost every part of the world, and now the company is again rolling out the same security patch to the smartphones, which is currently available in its home town, South Korea.

The update (January 2025 patch) for the entire Galaxy S24 series can be identified with the S921NKSS4AX13, S926NKSS4AX13 and S928NKSS4AX13 version numbers.

Although the newest update’s changelog doesn’t mention any major features and changes, the patch significantly focuses on providing a more safe and secure experience to the users by integrating various security vulnerabilities from both Google and Samsung collectively, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Alternatively, the update further adds stability and reliability to the system behaviour, brings performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and offers much improved features that in turn provide a smooth, better and optimized user experience.

Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S24 series owners have started receiving the second January security patch in South Korea; thus, users can now download the latest version on their devices when it is available.
