It’s surprising! Samsung’s newly arrived Galaxy S25 series has begun getting the newest February 2025 security update, with the units currently only available for pre-orders not even hitting the retail stores.
While Samsung’s other Galaxy devices are still getting refreshed with the January patch, the S25 Ultra units have been spotted (via erenylmaz075 on X) receiving the latest February 2025 security update and come with the S938BXXU1AYAA version number, which seems to be a global (European) variant, though.
Galaxy S25 Ultra gets February 2025 patch before any other smartphones, lol 😀

Although Samsung is yet to reveal the details as to what has been exactly fixed or arrived with the latest February 2025 security patch, it’s expected that the company will soon let Galaxy fans know about the key information for the upcoming security patch.
For now, it can be assumed that the next software update for the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be fully packed with certain bug fixes and other improvements for an efficient and secure performance.
Alternatively, it sounds quite shocking as well, as the Samsung Galaxy S25 series has not yet arrived in the market for sale, which is scheduled for 7th February. Apart from this, it’s likely that Samsung’s newest S25 series will be pre-installed with the latest February security patch. Also, a little more wait is advised, as this is just an assumption, and we need to sit and relax until Samsung officially starts selling the S25 units in the market.
