Samsung Galaxy S25 Overheating? Some Users Are Experiencing the Issue

Samsung Galaxy S25 has already set its dedicated pre-order benchmark in the market as it breaks the pre-order records of its predecessor, but it has not been a month since buyers received their smartphones and already started considering returning due to overheating issues.
Last week, Samsung ended the pre-order program and made the Galaxy S25 series officially available globally. The company ditched its in-house chipset over Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is the reason behind raising concern among buyers regarding overheating issues.
Some Galaxy S25 Users Report Overheating Issues
According to a reliable tipster, Yogesh Brar shared a post on X revealing that the Galaxy S25 series suffers from overheating issues and mentioned that while the Galaxy S25 Ultra only heats up mildly, the regular model gets noticeably hot.
However, this concern was raised even before the official launch of the Galaxy S25 series, since the other smartphones are powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which forces the device to overheat.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite delivers nearly 40% faster performance as compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that powers the Galaxy S24, and huge power leaps like these often arrive with overheating issues. The smartphone gets warm during routine use and unbearably hot while charging, and they even get hot during normal use while users are doing general tasks, for instance, browsing social media apps.
Reportedly, the overheating issue is not widespread, while others have pointed out that it’s normal for new handsets to get warm during the setup process.
