Samsung Prepares to Add YouTube Music Support to Its Clock App

Samsung is planning to add YouTube Music support to its clock application to enhance your waking-up experience by playing your favorite songs.

The Korean tech giant is working on integrating YouTube Music support into the Clock app to let you set your favorite YouTube Music as your alarm sound. A report from one of our colleagues at Android Authority revealed that it has found a string of code below, which hints at some kind of integration with Samsung.

Reportedly, Samsung is gearing up to add YouTube Music support to its clock app; however, things are under development. Just like with Spotify, you will be able to choose YouTube Music songs as your alarm ringtone.

Noticeably, if you want to experience this feature, you should have the app installed and a YouTube Music Premium subscription. Soon Galaxy users will have the option to choose between their music platforms; Spotify and YouTube Music for their alarm would be a welcomed addition to the app.

This new integration will offer more choices to choose your alarm tune instead of a limited default; however, Samsung hasn’t revealed anything official regarding this integration, so it remains to be seen exactly how efficient this functionality will be and when it will come into existence.
