
Since February month ends right here, Samsung will look towards wrapping up its February 2025 security update rollout for its Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the company is now expanding the patch for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 units to more countries, a few days after rolling it out in South Korea.
The February 2025 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 is now available to more regions, including Europe and the US, where the European Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 has F926BXXSAIYB1 and F711BXXSAIYB1 version numbers, respectively.
On the other hand, the latest software for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 integrates the February patch and is now available for both carrier-locked (T-Mobile) carrying F926USQS9JYB1 and F711USQS9JYB1, while unlocked units comes with F926U1UES9JYB1 and F711U1UESAJYB1 in the US, respectively.
Meanwhile, the update; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, but it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed within the previous version in order to offer a more safe and secure experience to the users, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
Apart from this, the update further adds stability to the overall system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that help users to have a smooth, optimized and efficient user experience and functionality.
