Samsung One UI 7 Stable Update: Expected Rollout Schedule for Galaxy Phones

Although the One UI 7 beta rollout began in early December, Samsung is yet to release the final schedule for its stable Android 15-based skin for the Galaxy S24 series users. Now, a new leak suggests that older Galaxy smartphones possibly need to wait until April and accidentally matches the previously rumored timeline for a One UI 7 stable update release.
Samsung One UI 7 Stable Update Possible Rollout Schedule
Reports significantly mention that a Galaxy S25 series workshop has been conducted in Romania, presenting a screenshot that apparently revealed the possible phase of the One UI 7 stable update rollout for Galaxy S24 series owners alongside other older eligible Galaxy smartphones will begin from 18th April.
However, it’s possible that these dates may be specific to Romania, while Samsung may prefer rolling out the One UI 7 stable update outside Romania with a different timeline. Therefore, based on the recent leak, here are the release timings:
Flagship S Series
- Galaxy S24 Series:
- S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra, and possibly S24 FE: April 18
- Galaxy S23 Series:
- S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra: April 25
- S23 FE: May 16
- Galaxy S22 Series:
- S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra: May 16
- Galaxy S21 Series:
- S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra, and possibly S21 FE: May 23
Foldables (Z Series)
- Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6: April 18
- Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Z Flip 5: April 25
- Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Z Flip 4: May 16
- Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3: May 23
Mid-Range A Series
- Galaxy A54: April 25
- Galaxy A34: May 16
- Galaxy A53 & A33: May 23
Despite being revealed from an official source, this above-mentioned timeline can’t be considered true. But in any case, the leaks happened to be true, so Samsung is possibly planning to launch the Android 15-based One UI 7 stable version not earlier than April, right after the launch of the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, which has already been tipped to arrive in the 2nd Quarter, 2025.

Currently, the Galaxy S24 family is testing the Fourth One UI 7 beta (Hotfix) update that significantly aims to offer an efficient user experience. While the official statement from Samsung still awaits, such a piece of information can’t be considered entirely true as it’s all up to the company anyways at the end.
