
Samsung has just begun the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 devices, meanwhile it has also started distributing the March 2025 security patch to the older foldables, with the latest development of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 4 and Flip 4 is getting security patch.
Samsung is rolling out the March 2025 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 4, and Flip 4 is getting a new update with the firmware version number F946NKSS5DYBD, F936NKSS6GYBD, and F721NKSS6GYBE respectively. The update is currently live in South Korea. It is worth noticing the update for Fold 5 has already arrived.
March 2025 update what’s new?
The March 2025 update for Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 4, and Flip 4 arrived with the same changelog which says Google security patch applied, it indicates that the update for these devices only brings some fixes that may not be noticeable visually. However, to get consistency on your device in terms of performance it is recommended to update your device to keep your device updated.
If you are using the above mentioned devices in South Korea then you should started getting the notification about the availability of the update. Alternatively, you can manually update your devices by going to the software update menu in the system settings.
