The second beta update for the Android 15-based One UI 7 build rollout began for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models!

While Samsung just rolled out the latest One UI 7 Beta 5 update for the Galaxy S24 series owners, which brought about a host of key fixes and improvements, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 have started getting a second beta update of the Android 15-based software skin!

As of writing, the second beta update of One UI 7 software for the company’s 6th-gen foldables has been spotted in two out of four countries, including India and South Korea, while it will be expanded to the other two regions, the UK and the US, shortly. Beyond this, the 2nd beta, or the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, apparently has the ZYC7 and ZYC8 build numbers, respectively.

This latest beta software measures a package size of 699.94MB; it significantly introduces numerous bug fixes while also integrating the March 2025 security patch that will eventually offer a smooth, safe, and secure user experience at the same time.

The update certainly fixes the battery widget overlapping issue, screen stuttering when the home key is operated, screen refresh rate guide error while gaming, calendar widget size not changing, camera quick control button being shifted to the left, media icon behavior error, and many other improvements.

Now that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 foldables have started the One UI 7 beta 2 update, owners should install the latest build on their devices when available.
