Samsung’s Android 15-based skin measures a significant package size of almost 1GB, while the key highlight of this update is the integration of Samsung Log for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models. Also, it brought about a lot of important bug fixes and other relevant improvements that were acknowledged in the previous beta build in order to provide a smoother user experience.

The expansion of Galaxy S25’s exclusive Samsung Log to Galaxy S24 and S24+ after S24 Ultra:

One UI 7 Beta 5 brings an amazing Samsung Log feature for its Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+. Previously, Samsung has added the Log video functionality for the high-end model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the Beta 4 software, and now the capability is expanded for the base and plus variants as well.

The Samsung Log feature allows Galaxy users to record videos in log format within the camera preview. It prominently captures a wider dynamic range in order to offer more flexibility when editing. Do note that Samsung has made the Log Video feature for the Galaxy S24 series, but it’s currently unavailable for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

One UI 7 beta 5 integrates the March 2025 security patch:

The latest Android 15-based One UI 7 beta 5 also brings the March 2025 security update that improves the device’s overall security and core functionality while also providing a more safe and secure user experience.

Lastly, the Beta 5 is all about bug fixes and improvements

The latest software brought about a lot of significant fixes, including lock screen notifications, a blur effect in widgets and transparency, partial font and image overlapping, quick action menu spacing, notification history error, media playback improvements, and more additional improvements.
