Samsung’s March 2025 security update hit the Galaxy S23 series last week in the US; meanwhile, now the update is expanding in Europe.

While the other participants are testing the One UI 7 beta channel, the non-beta testers of the S23 series are receiving new software that is based on One UI 6.1 and Android 14, apparently.

The latest firmware for all three models, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, has started rolling out in Europe, and the update has arrived with the S911BXXS8CYBDS916BXXS8CYBD, and S918BXXS8CYBD build numbers, respectively.

Meanwhile, the update integrates the latest March 2025 security patch; however, it doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather, it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It introduces a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous versions in order to provide a more safe and secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats. On the other hand, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that lead to a smooth and optimized user experience.

Moreover, the March security patch for the Galaxy S23 series is currently available in the US, Canada, and now in Europe. Therefore, users can now download the latest version on their devices when available.
