Samsung is working on Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, spotted on Geekbench

Samsung is looking forward to expanding the Galaxy Tab Active 5’s lineup by debuting the next variant called Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro which is anticipated to be powered with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. 

The Korean tech giant is working on a new device Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro as it has been spotted on the Geekbench with the dedicated model number SM-X356B; the report says. The single-core of the device scored 1,179 and a multi-core scored 3,378.

The listing of the device revealed that the company will power it with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and is expected to run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. 

Samsung launched the standard variant; the Galaxy Tab Active 5 back in January 2024 powered with the Exynos 1380 chipset. It features an 8.0-inch TFT LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

Reportedly, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is expected to launch soon, potentially alongside the Galaxy XCover7 Pro with a price of around Rs 50,000. However, for now, there’s a lack of reports regarding the specifications, features, design, and even the launching timeline of the device. It will be interesting to exactly what new novelties the company will introduce with the coming Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro.
