Samsung is rapidly in the process of covering its Galaxy devices with the latest March 2025 security update, while almost all the flagships have already received the patch in different parts of the world. Now, the Galaxy S24 FE units are receiving the software in the US.

The March 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24 FE is currently available for all the carrier-locked (T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Verizon, and AT&T) phones; it is expected to reach unlocked units shortly.

Specifically, the firmware is identified by the S721USQS3AYB1 build number. The software update; however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates numerous fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version and also protects the device against potential threats.

Accompanied by various fixes, the update further adds stability to the entire Galaxy device behavior and introduces certain performance optimizations that significantly lead to a more smooth, safer and efficient user experience.

Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE owners can either check out the notification for installing the latest patch, or can download and install manually the moment when the update is available.
