Galaxy Trifold is in development, appeared on GSMA

Samsung is gearing up to debut its first tri-fold, named Galaxy G Fold, this year, which is anticipated to debut in at least two regions, including, South Korea and China.

Transparently, the Korean tech giant is actively working on expanding its foldable, currently, it has a bunch of new foldable smartphones in the pipeline, including Galaxy Z Fold 7,  Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. Apart from these three devices, one more foldable is in the line called Galaxy G Fold (tri-fold) to debut this year.

Currently, it’s not confirmed whether Samsung will debut the Galaxy G Fold worldwide or in selected regions; meanwhile, a new report confirmed at least two regions.

A report from SamrtPrix revealed that it has spotted two model numbers in the GSMA database that stand for the Galaxy tri-fold device, which are as follows –

  • SM-F968N and SM-F9680

The last letter ‘N’ in the first model number represents South Korea, whereas ‘0’ in the second model number indicates China.
