Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge’s launch date is a current constant hot topic among fans, and now, as per a new report, it’s anticipated to be officially announced on May 13.
Initially, the Galaxy S25 Edge was rumored to debut along with the standard models of the Galaxy S25 series at the Unpacked event; however, instead of debuting, the company gave a sneak peek at the smartphone.
Later, it was rumored that the launch would be on April 15, but a recent report claimed that the company had postponed the launch schedule to May and June. Meanwhile, MWG retailer had already listed the smartphone on their websites before the official announcement.
Now, a new report from one of our colleagues, SamMobile, suggests that Samsung will debut the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13. The exact reason behind the delay is still unknown, but it may be due to recent changes in leadership following the death of Samsung DX head Jong-Hee Han and not any quality issues.
Reportedly, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in a smaller online-only presentation instead of an unpacked event. Currently, it is not clear whether the phone will also hit retail shelves in the same month.
Since May 13 is still not the official date, it remains to be seen whether the newly leaked launch date will come true.
