Samsung extended free green line screen replacement policy until September 2025

Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 users, here’s a relief for you from the green live issue since the company has extended the free screen replacement policy.

The green line issue on Samsung Galaxy phones refers to a persistent green line appearing on the display without any physical damage and even when the phone is otherwise functioning normally. However, mostly, the green line issue appeared on a few Galaxy lineups, including Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy Note series.

After the bulk of reports from Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 users regarding the greenline issue, Samsung offered a one-time free screen replacement. Previously, the replacement policy was limited to September 30, 2024, but later than the company later extended it to December 31, 2024.

Now, a new post on X, shared by a well-known tipster, Tarun Vats, revealed that Samsung has extended the green line free screen replacement policy till 30 September 2025.

However, the tipster hasn’t revealed the exact eligible device list for the policy, as he only mentioned the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy S21. Previously, the policy applied to all the models of the series, including base, puls, and ultra. Interested Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 users can confirm whether their device is eligible for the free screen replacement policy at Samsung’s service centre.

Notably, the offer is only valid for Indian users and is available just once per phone. In case you are struggling with the green line issue, you can visit a nearby Samsung service centre and get the screen replaced for free.
