Among the One UI 7 stable release, Samsung is also fulfilling the need to deliver the latest May 2025 security patch to Galaxy devices in different regions. Meanwhile, the company is currently looking forward to expanding the update to other countries as well. Now, the Galaxy S25 series is getting it in Canada.
The latest firmware for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra units has started receiving the May update and is recognised with the build numbers S931WWLS3AYDG, S936WWLS3AYDG and S938WWLS3AYDG, respectively.
More specifically, the newest May 2025 security patch; however, doesn’t introduce any major features and changes; rather, it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.
The update brought about a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in previous updates by integrating patches from both Google and Samsung collectively in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
Simultaneously, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system functionality and brings various performance optimisations that eventually lead to a more smooth, stable and optimized user experience.
