The stable One UI 7 rollout has now started for even more older-generation Galaxy devices. Starting with Samsung’s home town; the latest firmware for the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ has been identified with the build number, DYDA. Also, it’s expected to reach more countries gradually.

Well, the One UI 7 update brought about a lot of improvements and features for the Galaxy devices; however, with the Tab A9 series being the affordable tablets, they will not be receiving all the features that have arrived with the latest version. Still they are getting various improved features like Now Bar, brings live notifications, more improved and redesigned UI, more customizable home screen widgets, enhanced UI and overall animations.

Further, the update also brings the March 2025 security patch that only focuses on strengthening the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to provide a more secure user experience to the users.

It’s noticeable that the current update is available for the 5G variants of the Tab A9 series, while the Wi-Fi models will follow up shortly
