Samsung’s One UI 7 stable rollout is going smoothly, with a large number of devices already being updated across the world. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 model joined the party and has started getting the update, beginning from South Korea.
Well, Samsung has almost covered all the eligible Galaxy tablets, from Tab S10 series to Tab A9 lineup, and now, the company’s affordable tablet unit, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is getting the One UI 7 stable update in Samsung’s home town. More regions are expected to join shortly.
Specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has been identified with the build number (VIA) P620XXU5BYE5. At the same time, the update brings more improved functionality as it is baked with some amazing capabilities of Android 15 OS.
It significantly brings a more sophisticated UI, more upgraded Galaxy AI features, much enhanced home screen widget customisations, and much boosted productivity tools such as Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, call summaries and more. This eventually helps tablet owners to have a simplified experience and optimisations.
On the other hand, the update further integrates the latest May 2025 security patch that significantly aims on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external harms and risks.
