The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 hasn’t completed two months of launch, and it has already started hitting the green line issue, which is not expected, at least in this short period.
Last month, at the Unpacked event, Samsung launched its latest foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. Fortunately, the devices set a new sales benchmark, as they had broken the sales record of their predecessor Galaxy foldable phones.
Meanwhile, a random user took to the X platform to share a photo of the newly launched Galaxy Z Flip 7 with a green line running across the display. According to him, it’s been a week since he started using the device, and suddenly, the green line appears on the display.

While the affected device is still under warranty and should be eligible for replacement, it raises a concern among the Galaxy Z Flip 7 owners. However, it seems that this is an isolated case, since there are no more reports regarding the green line issue yet.
However, the user hasn’t revealed the exact scenario or exactly how the line occurred—for instance, after upgrading the device with its first software update—or whether the device went through any physical damage. Currently, it’s unclear if Samsung has acknowledged the green line issue; it remains to be seen how the company will deal with this issue and whether the issue will be limited to one device or spread to more.
