One UI 8 Beta 6 Brings Enhanced AI Portrait Studio to Galaxy S25

Samsung released the Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 models, which introduces an enhanced AI Portrait Studio.

Recently, the company took to its official Newsroom to announce that it will start rolling out the stable One UI 8 version in September, initially for the Galaxy S25 series. Meanwhile, now, the sixth beta update for the same lineup has just been released in selected regions, including India, the UK, Germany, and Korea.

Samsung offers several notable enhancements, such as improved Now Brief with read aloud and YouTube recommendations, Audio Eraser with quick Gallery toggle, a new Call Captions feature, and an upgraded AI Portrait Studio with the update.

With the latest beta update, Samsung offers an upgraded AI Portrait Studio, which supports images of pets like dogs and cats, as revealed by an X user. Galaxy Avatar within Portrait Studio helps you to turn your photos into visually appealing ones with superstar vibes.

Galaxy Avatar now allows you to turn your pet’s photo into stunning avatars, as it seamlessly works with pictures of dogs and cats. Interesting, it also helps to let you know if your pet has a more unique sound than a bark or meow. However, this new integration hasn’t surprised enough, since a few weeks ago, this feature was spotted on a Galaxy S25 device running an internal build of One UI 8.

The upgraded AI Portrait Studio is available to the Galaxy S25 series via the One UI 8 beta 6 update. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will bring it to more eligible devices with the upcoming updates
