Samsung Galaxy A37 5G Surfaces on GSMA IMEI Database During Development

Samsung is already working on its next mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A37 5G, which is now listed on the GSMA IMEI database.

Transparently, the Korean tech giant is quite active in expanding its mid-range Galaxy A series this year. In recent months, the company has launched several smartphones under this family, including the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A56,Galaxy A17, and Galaxy A07. Now it is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A37 5G as the successor of the Galaxy A36.

SammyPolice has exclusively reported that the upcoming Galaxy A37 is now listed on the GSMA IMEI database with the dedicated model numbers as mentioned below –

  • SM-A376U
  • SM-A376B/DS

The first model number hints at the carrier-locked variant for the US market, whereas the last two characters in the second model number, “DS,” stand for dual-SIM functionality, validating a larger global play.

However, apart from the model numbers, the listing hasn’t revealed any major or specific details regarding the specification of the Galaxy A37 5G, so it remains to be seen what new novelties Samsung will offer to this device. It’s expected that more leaks and rumors of the device will come into existence soon.

Since the Galaxy A37 5G has not appeared for the first time in the report yet, the launch date is a bit hard to predict, at least for now. Currently, Samsung is looking forward to launching its tri-folding and XR headset next month.
