Samsung finally ending One UI 8 Watch beta program for Galaxy Watch 7, stable is out now

Finally! Samsung has started releasing the latest Wear OS 6-based stable One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 7 models, beginning in its home country, South Korea.
Well, the Galaxy Watch 7 owners took part in the One UI 8 Watch beta program, which kicked off at the end of June this year. At the same time, Samsung continued the beta phase for the models by releasing a total of 5 beta builds.
Now, the company has announced that it’s finally ending the beta phase for the Galaxy Watch 7 models and beginning the process of releasing the stable One UI 8 Watch update, which is currently available in South Korea, while it’s expected to expand to more countries over the course of time.
However, the changelog for the latest firmware of the Galaxy Watch doesn’t mention any major features and changes, but the update apparently carries the new version number, BYI4, which is now available for Bluetooth models.

At the same time, the update further integrates the September 2025 security patch for a more secure and efficient user experience and functionality.
Besides this, the new Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch build is packed with a handful of new and exciting features. The update brings some significant additions to Now Bar, where users will be able to check all the key details right from the Watch face; adds a double pinch gesture for more seamless accessibility; adds new charging animations; brings enhancements to connectivity; and adds other relevant improvements to the overall functionality.
Most prominently, the One UI 8 Watch further brings new and more improved health features such as the Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index. Well, the Bedtime Guidance is said to be available for all the Galaxy Watches with One UI 8 Watch update; however, the other three features, including Vascular Load, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index, will remain exclusive for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models, at least for now.
