Android Auto quietly welcomes two new features for Google Maps

Android Auto is indeed considered the most appreciated service offered by Google. The company is constantly looking towards integrating some new and more useful features within the service; meanwhile, it looks like Android Auto is secretly welcoming two new features.

Well, interestingly, a previous report suggested that users have been facing zooming issues with Google Maps, but despite that, Google appears to be adding two new features to Google Maps on Android Auto, according to a fresh report.

Basically, Google follows a pattern of secretly adding new features to Android Auto without announcing them via a dedicated changelog, and therefore, according to the latest report from Tuttoandroid, two new features have been added within Google Maps on Android Auto; however, noticeably, both features are not tied to any specific version.

First up, Google seems to be removing the suggested destinations function (via Reddit) from Android Auto, which is no longer displayed in the drop-down menu. Well, most users will appreciate the newer change, while others might not like it as they prefer the previous arrangement.

At the same time, another change is that the report option now seems to be available on Android Auto, and it has perhaps replaced the voice guidance option on smaller screens, which has now shifted to the Settings. Well, Google is performing certain changes with Android Auto; however, the platform is more prone to bugs and other issues.

Nevertheless, Android Auto significantly offers the most enhanced user experience, but it remains to be seen how users will react to this newest change.
