Samsung is continuing with the expansion of the October 2025 security update for even more Galaxy devices; meanwhile, the company is starting to deliver the update for the Galaxy A54 devices, starting from South Korea and the US.
Specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy A54 is now available in both South Korea and the US, which has been identified with the A546SKSSCEYJ3 and A546VSQSFEYJ3 (Verizon-locked) version numbers, respectively. Noticeably, it’s expected to reach even more countries over the coming weeks.
The October security patch is a minor update that, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly improves the device’s overall security, core functionality, and performance.
It adds a host of fixes by both Google and Samsung collectively, for all the security issues that have been acknowledged in the previous version, which eventually provides a secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.
At the same time, the software further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for efficient functionality and brings certain performance optimizations to offer a smoother, sophisticated, and stable experience to the users.
Well, it’s interesting that the company has already released the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A54 owners. Nevertheless, Samsung is already rolling out the October patch for the Galaxy A54 owners; the software will take some time before reaching all the users, as the process happens in a few batches.
Also, the Galaxy A54 users can now download the latest version on their devices through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
