Samsung is currently working on at least six flagship smartphones to launch next year. Meanwhile, one of our colleagues brings us the model numbers for those devices.
Ritually, Samsung launches two flagship lineups each year: the Galaxy S series early in the first half and the Galaxy Z series in the second half. For instance, this year, it launched the Galaxy S25 series in January and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 in July.
Now, the company appears to follow the same ritual, as our Android Authority has discovered model numbers of Samsung’s premium devices for next year in unreleased software; however, the lineup shown reveals no surprises. The leaked model numbers are mentioned below –
- SM-S942, SM-S947, and SM-S948
These model numbers stand for the upcoming Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphones, respectively. Notably, the list includes only three model numbers, which again hints at the absence of the Galaxy S26 Edge.
Apart from these, the report also revealed three more model numbers, which are as follows –
- SM-F971, SM-F776, and SM-F976
These numbers have been revealed for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8, respectively. There is no model number for the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold’s successor; however, the original device has not been officially released yet. Nevertheless, it is quite possible that later the company will start working on a successor model.
