Galaxy Watch 4 Series One UI Watch 4.5 Beta Firmware: 4th Revision July 2022

Samsung has released the fourth Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5 beta upgrade for the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic clients. The update brings identifier no. as S/W Version-ZVG3 with Watch4 Manager as 2.2.11.22071211 for Beta, including the firmware no. R860XXU1ZVG3.

The update debuted first in its home country S.Korea & then the USA.

This overhaul brings numerous modern changes, enhancements, and bug fixes & arranged the upgrade for the device’s improved performance. 

According to the changelog, this. Users can utilize the unused changes by downloading the bundle estimated at 240.43 MB.

This is the fourth revision of the Beta, and it emphasizes error & bug fixing, as the improvements were already introduced in the previous versions. This being a Beta version, it was expected of it to have bugs or errors, which should be improved with every revision, including the user feedback.

This update fixes the issue that forces to close permission pop-up when the user adds the current location in Weather Tile and the mismatch problem of connection status between the Galaxy Wearable app and Bluetooth settings.

Samsung One UI Watch 4.5 beta four further comes with fixes for the ANR problem when checking the Samsung Health screen during exercise. Moreover, the time-shaking issue of Stopwatch and the issue of the Sysui crash has also been resolved.

The update also fixes the issue that compels closing permission pop-up when the user adds the present location in Weather Tile. The mismatch problem of connection status between the Galaxy Wearable app and Bluetooth settings has been resolved.

As mentioned earlier, this update also fixes the ANR problem with the Samsung Health screen during exercise, including the time-shaking issue of Stopwatch following the issue fix for the System UI crash.

Further minor tweaks were also applied to Messaging app, Watch Battery app, Watchface function, and Sleeping mode features. This seems to be the end of the road for this Beta to its final destination of a stable version release. To summarize, this update fixes most bugs and errors caused by ANR (application not responding), system crashes, and issues related to communication & aesthetics.

Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series. It has already rolled out the update in several countries, mainly Europe and Latin America. Now the device is starting to get the update in the US.

Notably, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are receiving the update on the Verizon network with the firmware version numbers T878USQS7DXD1 and T978USQS7DXD1, respectively. With the latest update, the device will have proper consistency in terms of performance and security.

For your information, the April 2024 update will bring you more than 40 fixes, of which Google has added 27 that enhance the Android OS functionalities. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 more fixes that exclusively improve the functioning of the Galaxy devices.

Furthermore, the update could bring some new changes that internally improve the device’s functioning and provide enhancements for performance and stability. Surprisingly! One UI 6.1 update arrived for Galaxy A23 5G before flagships in the US

Earlier this month, Samsung officially announced that it will provide one UI 6.1 update to the 2022 flagship device in May. But now the company has surprisingly started rolling out the update to one of the midrange Galaxy A23 devices.

The Verizon network has spotted the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A23, with the firmware version number A236VSQU3CXD3. It has also brought the latest security update in the form of an April 2024 security patch. With the latest update, there are several new features introduced that will add some new features and enhancements.

In detail, the latest update for the Galaxy A23 5G introduces a new battery protection feature that allows users to manage the application’s battery charging to prevent battery damage. There are some new changes in the clock customization, gallery, and Samsung account sections. It is important to note that there is no AI feature arriving in this update.

The update will also enable call continuity, mid-conversation device switching, and seamless communication across any device, such as a Galaxy table, computer, or watch, all connected to the same Samsung account. A small but important addition is a new toggle in the mobile network that allows users to turn off 5G if they don’t need to connect to the update.

To check for the new version, you just need to go to the system settings,  select software update, touch the system update, and tap the check for updates button. You may have to tap the button more than once to trigger the download, but if all this fails, then you can also manually install the update via official factory image files.
