Samsung Galaxy S23, Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 will have the same AI features as the S24

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 owners, here’s good news for you all, guys: you are getting all the Galaxy AI features of the recently launched Galaxy S24 series.

Initially, Samsung has officially announced that along with the One UI 6.1 update, the 2023 flagship will get some of the Galaxy AI features from the Galaxy S24, whereas some of the features may not be available in previous generation models. Fortunately, it looks like sometimes the official announcement could also get changed.

Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are on the list to get all the Galaxy AI features of the Galaxy S24 series. This is being speculated by a screenshot on X shared by a well-known tipster, @UniverseIce. He also mentioned, “Exclusive preview: Galaxy S23 series Flip5 and Fold5 will get all the AI functions of S24.”

In the other post, shared a video of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and mentioned that “Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra One UI 6.1 It has all the AI features and animation effects of the S24 Ultra.” But the noticeable fact is that the that the Galaxy S23 does not include some features of the Galaxy S24: full-screen AOD, screen brightness adjustment, photo super HDR, and camera algorithm.

The Advanced Intelligence menu housed on a Galaxy Z Fold 5 makes all the AI features available that can be found in that similar menu on a Galaxy S24. The giants have also added a description for Circle to Search in there so users know the features exist.

Jumping on the Fan Edition, the Galaxy S23 FE, unfortunately, could not get all the Galaxy AI features after being debuted in 2023. It is powered by Exynos and Snapdragon chips similar to the Galaxy S22 series instead of a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is available in Galaxy S23 models, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9.

It has already been reported that by the end of this month, the One UI 6.1 update could start rolling out for the flagships of 2023, and we are already in the final stage of the month. Let’s see when the rollout will get started.
