One UI 6 Watch Beta: Which Galaxy Smartwatches Are Eligible?

Published

on

Finally, Samsung has officially disclosed that its smartwatches are actively preparing to enter the new era of AI via the forthcoming latest One UI 6 Watch update. Here is a list of eligible Galaxy Watches for the One UI 6 Watch beta update.

By the end of this year, Samsung will make the One UI 6 Watch available, with the beta program for select Galaxy Watch users starting in June. The brand stated that only a limited number of users will have access to the beta program. It seems that the AI-enabled One UI Watch update should debut with the Galaxy Watch 7 series.

However, older-generation smartwatches are expected to get a sneak preview in June thanks to this upcoming beta program. Samsung stated the One UI 6 Watch beta program will be available for a limited number of users in South Korea and the United States. If jumping on last year’s One UI 5 Watch beta program, it appears that the beta firmware would not come to any other markets throughout the testing period.

It will likely remain exclusive to the USA and Korea. The Galaxy smartwatch owners are eagerly waiting for the next One UI 6 Watch beta, which will be available for all Wear OS smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6 lineups. The brand unveils that One UI 6 Watch beta firmware will be available for the smartwatches mentioned below:

  • Galaxy Watch 4 BT/LTE
  • Galaxy Watch 4 Classic BT/LTE
  • Galaxy Watch 5 BT/LTE
  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro BT/LTE
  • Galaxy Watch 6 BT/LTE
  • Galaxy Watch 6 Classic BT/LTE

However, a few features might not be available for older models, and they might not boast each Galaxy AI tool. Samsung has yet to officially confirm what AI novelties will arrive with the One UI 6 Watch, but it will be interesting to see.

Samsung has already started rolling out the One UI 6 watch beta program for the Galaxy smartwatches. The company initiated the program with its latest Galaxy Watch 6 series a couple of weeks ago, and recently it released the second betaupdate as well. Now the company has brought a new update for the Watch plugin for the devices.

Galaxy Watch 6 Plugin June 2024 Update

Samsung has rolled out the Watch 6 Plugin update. The latest update is coming with the firmware version number 2.2.13.24062461. With the latest update, the company has not made any significant changes, as it hasn’t mentioned them in the changelog. However, we hope that the company may enhance the performance of the connection with the watches.

For starters, the Galaxy Watch 6 Plugin is a stock application that allows users to easily connect their watches to their smartphones via the Galaxy Wearable application. To get consistent performance, you should keep the application up-to-date.

To install the latest update on your device, follow these simple steps: First, go to the Galaxy wearable application on the connected smartphone, then go to the Google Play Store or Galay Store. Here, search for the Galaywatch 6 Plugin, or you can see the update in the update tab. If the update is available, tap on the button.

Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch7, and Buds3 Shown in Detailed Images

We are just two weeks away from the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked Event, which will be hosted in Paris on July 10. Finally, ahead of the launch of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3 at the event, a new report revealed detailed images of all three of them.

Samsung is all set to expand its smart wearable ways by debuting a bunch of next-generation wearable products, including the Galaxy Buds 3, the Galaxy Watch 7, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Now a tipster named Evan Blass shared images that reveal more new details about these devices. However, this time, the design seems quite impressive.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra appears in a dark gray design coupled with an orange color band; this format of the design seems quite similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. This time, the brand dropped its traditional spring-loaded connector for the Galaxy Watch Ultra and will use a new band connector system that matches Apple’s. Noticeably, the button housed on the underbody of the smartwatch hints that the release is similar to that of the Cupertino brand.

The upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 appears in Olive Green, Silver, and Gold color options in the image, with a design that’s essentially similar to its predecessor, even the spring-pin strap connector. The tipster also shared images of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro true wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Buds 3 appear to have an open design, the same as Apple’s base AirPods. Whereas the Pro model has the usual silicone ear cushions.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and the upcoming Galaxy Buds appear in the blue and orange color options. Samsung will launch these products at the launch event, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring.
