Samsung Galaxy Phones to Offer More Effective Unknown Tracker Alerts

While Google is leveraging more improvised security features by rolling out a new and useful update to its impactful Unknown Tracker Alerts, Samsung Galaxy users will now be able to protect their privacy by effectively detecting undesirable Bluetooth trackers.

It’s impressive that Google is actively engaged in developing a more safe and secure environment for the Android smartphone owners, including Samsung Galaxy devices. Taking inspiration from Apple’s AirTags, Google came up with the most leading unknown tracker alerts feature that significantly allows Android devices to seamlessly detect when an undesired tracker tag is around you while travelling.

Google Boosts Android Safety with New Features to Detect Unknown Trackers

With the latest update, Google has begun implementing two new features within the unknown tracker alerts functionality. First up, the Find Nearby feature, which allows Android (including Galaxy phones) users to track the suspicious yet exact location of an unknown tracker tag, guiding users to the place where the tag is hidden.

Alternatively, another feature added is the ability to temporarily pause location. This feature will significantly pause to update the smartphone’s location and prevent your Android device’s location from being tracked by the unknown tracker tag for up to 24 hours. This in turn offers users some extra time to look for the tracker and disable it immediately.

Moreover, the newest addition will be the part of Android’s Find My Device functionality that will only focus on providing the best possible security and privacy features that are going to further create a secure environment for all the Android users, including the Samsung Galaxy models.
