Galaxy S25’s April 2025 Security Update expansion begins

Samsung released the latest April 2025 security update for the Galaxy S25 series; however it was only limited to South Korea. Now, it looks like Samsung has begun expanding the update in more eligible regions across the world.
More specifically, the new software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra integrates the latest April 2025 security patch, which can be identified with the S931BXXU2AYD9, S936BXXU2AYD9 and S938BXXU2AYD9 build numbers, respectively, and is currently available in Australia. At the same time, as usual, the April patch; however, doesn’t introduce any major features or changes; rather it focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. According to the changelog, the latest update significantly brings new charging animations and media player in the notifications panel for better usability.
It integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed in previous versions in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats or harms. At the same time, the update further adds stability to the overall system behaviour, all while optimising performance for smoother functionality.
Well, the latest update for the Galaxy S25 series is currently available in South Korea and in Australia, it will soon be expanded to more eligible regions in the coming future.
