Samsung AOD update brings capability to show election info on Now Bar

Over the past few years, Samsung has focused on bringing new facilities on the smartphone lock screen and AOD display. In the implementation of useful functionalities with the last couple of flagships from S series or Z series we can say that it has work tremendously for enhancing the overall experience of users with the availability of new accessibility from AOD.

For instance, Samsung has made the accessibility of widgets from the AOD easy, it has brought wallpaper compatibility which give a whole new visual look to the device and many more. Apart from AOD, the company has also introduced the Now Bar with the One UI 7 which offers easy access to live activities direct from the AOD.

Now with the latest AOD update it has adapted the ability to show election info on the AOD through Now Bar. It is worth noticing that the latest update is available for South Korea with the version number 8.8.45.20. In the changelog, it says that after the update it will provide real time information on Naver 21st presidential election voting and counting.

As of now the capability of election data is limited to South Korea but there is possibility that other countries could also get the same feature in the upcoming days.

If you are using a Galaxy device with AOD and Now Bar capability then you should update your device to the AOD app on you device to get the latest changes and features. To do that you can check the Galaxy store on your device or you can sideload the latest version from the external sources.
