Samsung is currently taking a big step in making its Samsung Wallet service stand above all, and thus, the company is already rolling out a major update, starting today in South Korea, that brings an all new feature within this renowned payment service.
Volunteering is high-in demand among students, and therefore, Samsung has started offering a new “1365 Volunteer Service” feature to Samsung Wallet, especially carved for students in order to provide them an opportunity to do something grateful for the society and this will help them grow in various volunteer-based activities.
Beginning from June 24th, Samsung is making it easier for the students to search for and apply for the volunteer work, while also checking their overall performance via the latest 1365 Volunteer service added within Samsung Wallet.
At the same time, Samsung has further provided a Samsung Wallet mobile student ID to the students so that they can easily check and participate in Volunteer service. Also, the 1365 Volunteer Service feature has been successfully added to the student ID to improve accessibility and to offer convenience to the students.
Beyond this, students will be allowed to apply in this initiative via the volunteer activity button placed at the bottom of their ID cards, while also allowing them to manage their volunteer activity schedule through notifications and can even share their volunteer activities with others.
Most prominently, Samsung eyes on increasing the interests of students in various community service activities. Also, starting with the students, Samsung is planning towards the expansion of Samsung Wallet’s Volunteer feature for volunteers by linking the Mobile Volunteer Certificate issued by the government across the country.
For now, Samsung is rolling out the major update for Samsung Wallet sequentially, starting from June 24 to June 30, with 4 universities, 18 high schools and ISIC international student ID cards being supported for the 1365 Volunteer Service program.
