Galaxy S23 One UI 8 Lacks Most Important Galaxy AI Feature

The first One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S23 series has just landed, adding another Galaxy S series model to the list. The latest version added a collection of new and improved features, which are certainly topped up with capabilities powered by Android 16. However, one of the most significant Galaxy AI factors goes missing from the latest beta version!
Basically, Samsung integrated Now Brief, a feature that is designed to provide and guide users with daily briefings all throughout the day, which is easily accessible via the Now Bar on the phone’s lock screen, and these insights are perfectly secured with the Samsung Knox vault for additional safety and personalization. The Galaxy AI suite via the One UI 7 version and the Galaxy S25 series were the first smartphones to exclusively debut with this feature.
At the same time, Samsung opened up the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models a few days ago, and the build brings the Now Brief feature with several bug fixes and other improvements.
No! One UI 8 doesn’t bring the Now Brief feature on Galaxy S23
However, the company has just started expanding the first One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series; it indeed brought various essential features and enhancements, but the Now Brief feature is not included in the changelog.

Nevertheless, a previous report claimed that the older generation Galaxy devices, including the S23 models, could perhaps take advantage of the Now Brief feature. Therefore, the report was not meant to be true, as Samsung has never claimed that it’s going to expand the Now Brief feature to more older Galaxy phones.
Well, it’s neither clear how many beta builds will be distributed to the Galaxy S23 series, nor is it clarified that the next One UI 8 beta version might add the Now Brief feature within the 2023 flagships.
