Samsung released the Galaxy Z TriFold second time for sale, and surprisingly, the device again sold out in just 2 minutes, both online and in stores.
Earlier this month, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and running Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. A few days after the launch, the company released the device for sale in Korea today, December 12, and in no time, Samsung’s official sales website started showing a “Sold out” message and a thank-you note for buyers.
Recently, it was reported that Samsung will reopen the pre-order for the Galaxy Z TriFold on its official website at 10:00 AM on December 17, 2025. Now, a new report from business sources revealed that, as per the announcement, the company today, as of December 17, reopened registration for the Galaxy Z Trifold on Samsung.com at 10 AM.
According to the report, within two minutes, the company closed the registration, as the number of orders far exceeded the available stock. Apart from this, the company also shipped the device to retail stores; however, these were not for free sale but rather a priority batch for customers who had visited the store on the launch day (December 12) but were unable to purchase due to shortages.
Stocking out of the Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone shows its success and sets a new benchmark in the foldable market.
