Published

on

Recently Samsung rolled out a new firmware update for Galaxy S21 Plus for June 2022. We have seen continuous updates for Samsung’s Galaxy S21, S22, and S21+, as one would expect from their prime series. Here is the recent update history. We have seen a recent update released in Germany, which is G996BXXU5CVEB.

Although Samsung has rolled out these updates for the Galaxy S21 trio, it has only been seen in a few regions. This time it’s Germany and expected to roll out soon in other regions as Samsung usually pushes its updates to all its sister series devices simultaneously.

This OTA seems to be a security patch, just regular updates. Not much to add here. Some users are starting to post their updates here.

If you are not getting updated, you might want to check the option for software update in your phone settings. Also, make sure that you are connected to wifi to get a better experience, avoid network carrier charges, and make sure your phone is charged, for updates may take time.

Samsung Galaxy S21+ sports Mali G78 MP14/Adreno 660, octa-core Snapdragon 888 5nm/Exynos 2100 5nm, Android 11, and One Ui 3.1 out of the box, with four promising updates from Samsung.
