The latest in today’s development, on June 29th in the display business, it was noticed that the supercolossal S.Korean Samsung bought the display technology of the Bruchsal Germany-based Cynora GmBh.
According to Bloomberg, Cynara GmbH develops and manufactures organic electronics. The Company provides organic light-emitting diodes, blue OLED emitters systems, and organic solar cells used in power consumption. Cynora serves customers worldwide.
Samsung has bought the intellectual rights and property of the German Company for a whopping 300 million dollars in the US. However, the acquisition did not account for the manual workforce of the Company.
Making the foldable display was the Company’s forte to give competition to other companies which are anticipated to enter the flexible display technology for foldable such as Apple & Alphabet Inc. Samsung has made this move to be a step ahead.
The Company has recently released its workers but continues to remain online as a part of this acquisition.
According to the inside sources, it is believed that the Cynora GmbH had a debt to clear with the investors while also operating low on banknotes company made this decision.
Both Samsung and Cynora GmbH have yet to comment on this story, but several media sources & insiders have stamped this information as a legitimate development.
CYNORA also announced last year the tech industry’s first device test kits for TADF deep green emitters for next-generation OLED Displays, i.e., The Company also specializes in the next-generation emitter technology for blue and green-based color reproduction.
Samsung’s VP of mobile business said,
The foldable series stand subsequently to the Galaxy S series and is the “main column next to the Galaxy S series within our business,” while also adding,
“We are currently all hands on deck preparing the new foldable model scheduled for launch in the second half.”

With Samsung ready to unveil the Galaxy Z series in upcoming August and also to invest in the new OCR to replace OCA for the flexible display, i.e., placed a PO (Purchase Order) for shipment of OCR to STI, a moderate-level display equipment company recently. An OCR optically clear resin is a liquid optical bonding material, which is injected between the touch panel and the LCD, then cured by heat or UV light.
Samsung is currently the flagbearer in the flexible display and foldable smartphone technology & devices, and this decision shows that it wants to remain unchallenged in this field with continuous tech expansion.
