Samsung has brought several useful features for the Galaxy devices with the One UI 6.1. Now the devices are getting multiple enhancements, which will improve the overall performance with convenience. With the latest update of device care, it has brought the same battery statistics that were removed in the One UI 6.0.

Samsung has rolled out a new update for device care. It is coming with the firmware version number 13.8.06.11. With the latest update, the battery section in the system settings gets some new options, like bringing the “Since Last Charge’ filter to the better life graph. The update is now available on the Galaxy Store, but in case it doesn’t arrive for your device, you can also download it from external sources.

The latest update of Device Care is also available for devices that are running on One UI 6.0 or One UI 5.1, which means you will not necessarily need One UI 6.1. Once you install the latest update of the device care, you will get two new filters in the drop-down menu: Today and Since Last Charge. In the Today section, you will get the stats about the battery for the current day’s battery charging and battery life graph.

When you tap on the since last change, it will display the battery life graph, displaying the screen on time since your Galaxy device was last changed.

Samsung has already started rolling out its latest and is awaiting the One UI 6.1 software update to its 2023 flagship smartphones, which offers plenty of Galaxy AI features, including the most popular Circle to Search with Google, for which Samsung has already praised Google. Now Google is gearing up to upgrade this feature.

The Circle to Search feature permits you to search directly by just circling any image or text on the display without changing the app. Google plays the lead role in this Circle to Search feature, and now it is setting up to enhance the facilities within the Circle to Search feature for more convenience.

Google announced that Circle to Search will be able to translate content on the display in the coming weeks, leading to speculation. To access this feature, all you have to do is long-press the home button or the navigation bar to bring up Circle to Search, and tap the translate icon. Then, instantly, the Circle to Search feature will automatically detect the language of the content on the display and translate it to your preferred language.

With this upgrade, it will not be asked to draw a circle around it. For instance, if you open any PDF file that is in Japanese, you can convene Circle to Search, hit the translate icon, and it will convert the language of the menu to English effortlessly.

Presently, for translating content that is on the display, first you have to take a screenshot, then go to Google Translate, and then select that image. Then the app will detect the language in the screenshot and convert it to the preferred language. This seems pretty lengthy since for this you have to switch between applications, take a screenshot, then select, and more. Now Google is upgrading the Circle to Search feature, which will offer the facility to translate features seamlessly.

At last, Gemini is finally on Google Messages! After missing the fixed schedule, Gemini is now available on Google’s messaging platform.

Gemini by Google is designed for multimodality, reasoning, and creative collaboration and is supposed to arrive in the beta version of Google Messages starting in the final week of February, as Google announced. But the Giants missed the schedule, and now they are making this happen.

If the recent reports are to be believed, the latest beta version of Google Messages is offering a Gemini facility. Interested parties can easily access the chatbot by just hitting the button to start a new chat, and the application will offer the option to interact with Gemini right before the contacts list starts.

Then click on it, and Google Messages will open the chat with the chatbot. Now one can easily interact with Gemini the same as with the web portal or chatbot’s application. Now you have the power to draft messages, brainstorm ideas, plan events, or simply have fun conversations.

However, for now, a Gemini facility on Google Messages is only available on specific smartphones, which are as follows:

  • Google Pixel 8 series
  • Google Pixel 7 series
  • Google Pixel 6 series
  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5

Notably, if you want to access the latest feature, you must have a personal Google account, set the language to English, and select a specific country out of 165 countries. By following all these instructions, you can easily access this new feature on Google Messages.
