One UI 5.1

One UI Core 5.1 version: Its supported devices will get the update?

Samsung always distributes the latest update for every Galaxy device, but due to some limitations like low-end hardware, the company has divided its One UI skin into two categories; for medium to high-end devices, there is original skin One UI served, but for the low-end devices company has specially designed the core version of it.

One UI 5.1 Release Date, Devices, Features, and More

There are several devices of Galaxy M series, Galaxy F and A series which are running on One UI Core 5.0 version, for example, Galaxy A03, Galaxy M04, Galaxy F04 and many more. According to the past timelines of updates, the core version devices have received the second version of the same generation One UI, so it is possible that some devices will get this time as well, but it is unclear which devices will get the update.

Why Has Samsung Designed The One UI Core?

In the year 2018, Samsung launched its first iteration of One UI, which was based on Android 9 Pie; the Korean giant debuted its new skin with One UI 1.0; it was released in Galaxy S9, and after then, it has updated to a newer generation for the high-end devices. Meanwhile, the company wants to make a different UI for its low-end devices so they can work smoothly with the limited specification, so Samsung has introduced the lite version of its same One UI. The core version gave you the same user interface but with limited features.

One UI 5.1 features

The One UI 5.1 adds some new features under inbuilt apps, like family sharing albums in the Gallery app. In the camera app, there are some changes made, like now you can easily change the colour tone of your selfies with the effect button, and the Expert raw is now quickly accessible through the Advanced menu.

In the AR Zone and AR Emoji section, there are some new features added, such as now you tack funny photos and videos with three people, and the layout and editing have been improved in AR Doodle. There are some new and improved widgets that have also been introduced, like the Battery widget and the Intuitive weather widget. And there are a lot more features that will be available with One UI 5.1.

Note:- All the features defined above are available for the full-fledged One UI, you can go through those features to get an idea about One UI 5.1, and the core version update will come with fewer features as compared to the original one.
