Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3’s battery isn’t performing well with the One UI 5.1

With the reveal of the Galaxy S23 flagship, Samsung has launched its premium novelty- the One UI 5.1 update as well. The One UI 5.1 update has started to reach eligible Galaxy devices and has made its way to plenty of them already. It has brought a lot of necessities, but some bug issues appeared with it. Many Galaxy devices are majorly dealing with battery-draining issues lately, which now show up in the Galaxy foldable too.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3 have battery drain issue after One UI 5.1 update
As per the reports, many users are sharing that after installing the One UI 5.1 update in their Galaxy devices, their device’s battery life seems to be shorten than before. The issue was first seen in the previous Galaxy S devices- Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21. Now, the issue has appeared on Galaxy foldable devices- Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 as well, which also appeared after installing One UI 5.1.
Recently, Piunikaweb has compiled the feedback and complaints generated by users that shed light on that battery draining problem again. Users have said that their Galaxy Z Fold device’s battery has been ruined because of this additional UI update. They have assumed that the update might have hampered the charging process or caused a quick drain to the battery. The issue has left the users on disappointing.

They have said that the update has strengthened their device’s battery and is providing a superior experience. About the battery draining issue, we are expecting Samsung to take action for it at the soonest possible pace. As per the expectations, the company may release a bug fix for it with the March update.
